Margaret Swenberg (nee Vaszko), 96 years young, died peacefully after a brief illness on March 27, 2024.
She was preceded in death by husband of fifty-two years, Richard James “Swede” Swenberg in 2005.
She is survived by sons, Nils and Jim Swenberg and daughter, Denise Swenberg Enright (Jeff), grandchildren, Shannon Hercules (Joe) and Erik Enright (Joanna). And her “go power”, the eight great grandchildren, Michael (betrothed to Natalie Wammes), Anna, Joey, Ben, Andrew, Lexi, Kate and Elizabeth. She was of great faith and devotion, both in her home and a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, for 61 years, which radiated to her daily life by her devotion to family and friends.
Family and friends may call at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W Turkeyfoot Lk Rd. (Rt. 619), Portage Lakes in New Franklin on Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester, Rd. Coventry, Ohio. Rev. Father David Verbsky, officiating. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, New Franklin, Ohio.
Blessed to have all caregivers that offered Margaret dignity and comfort at Barberton Citizens Hospital, St. Luke’s Lutheran Community, Elara Caring Hospice and Coventry and New Franklin EMS. Grateful.
